About Folsom Family Pride

Folsom Family Pride started with a simple belief: that every LGBTQIA+ person in Folsom deserves a welcoming and affirming space to be fully themselves. What began as a community gathering has grown into a nonprofit organization committed to celebration, visibility, and connection year-round.

Our Mission & Vision

Folsom Family Pride is a celebration of inclusivity, diversity, and love dedicated to uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community in Folsom and beyond.

Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming space where individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities can express themselves freely, foster meaningful connections, and feel empowered to be fully themselves.

Through our outreach and annual Pride festival, we work to promote visibility, understanding, equality, and solidarity while honoring the unique individuals and experiences that shape our community.

Our vision is to build a more connected and inclusive Folsom by:

  • creating a safe and welcoming LGBTQIA+ space within the community
  • fostering connection between LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, allies, and local resources
  • celebrating diversity, pride, and belonging year-round
  • providing a free, family-friendly Pride event that is accessible to all

Together, we commit to visibility, community, and belonging.

Who We Serve

Folsom Family Pride serves LGBTQIA+ individuals and families, allies, and anyone who believes in building a more inclusive community across differences in lived experience. Our annual festival is free and open to all ages, and our outreach is designed to be a visible, welcoming presence in the Folsom area.

We believe Pride is for everyone.
