We Believe in Openness and Accountability

Folsom Family Pride is a community organization built on trust, inclusion, and accountability to the diverse communities we serve. We are committed to operating with transparency so that our community, our partners, and our supporters always know where their investments go.

Our Commitment to Transparency

As a nonprofit organization, we take our responsibility to the community seriously. This page is a resource for anyone who wants to learn more about how Folsom Family Pride operates, how we use our funds, and who leads our organization.

We will continue to update this page as our organization grows and as additional documents become available.

Organizational Information

Folsom Family Pride is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID: 41-3842154) committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible stewardship of all community contributions. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

As part of our commitment to organizational transparency and public trust, we make our IRS tax-exemption application (Form 1023-EZ) and annual IRS Form 990 filings from the past three years available for public inspection and copying. These records include all schedules, attachments, and supporting documentation submitted to the IRS.

In the spirit of openness and community accountability, amended board meeting minutes may also be available upon request when appropriate. Confidential matters, including personnel discussions, legal issues, and closed-session items, are excluded from public release.

Financial Information

Our organization is led entirely by volunteers, including our working board of directors and planning committee. This volunteer-led structure helps ensure that the majority of funds raised directly support programs, events, and community impact in Folsom and surrounding areas.

As a newly established nonprofit, we do not yet have IRS Form 990 filings available. Our first filing will be due in fall 2027, and all future filings will be published here to maintain transparency and accountability.
