Accessibility Statement

  • Effective Date: May 29, 2026
  • Last Updated: October 13, 2026

Folsom Family Pride is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for people with disabilities. Access to community information is part of our commitment to inclusion and belonging.

Our Accessibility Goal

We aim to make our website accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines address a broad range of accessibility needs, including visual, hearing, mobility, and cognitive needs.

Accessibility is an ongoing part of website design and maintenance. Our priorities include clear page structure, readable content, meaningful text alternatives, sufficient contrast, keyboard access, and layouts that work at different screen sizes and zoom levels.

Accessibility Tools

Our website includes the UserWay accessibility widget. You can open its accessibility control to explore available adjustments, such as text size, contrast, and other display or navigation options.

The widget supplements our website accessibility efforts. You do not have to use it to request assistance, and it does not replace your own assistive technology or browser accessibility features.

Ongoing Improvements

We work to identify and address accessibility barriers as our website changes and as we receive feedback. Some content or features may not yet meet every accessibility need. This statement describes our commitment and approach; it is not a claim that every page or feature has been independently certified.

External Websites and Services

Links on our website may lead to donation platforms, application forms, social media, or other services operated by third parties. Their accessibility may differ from our website.

If an external service creates a barrier to connecting with Folsom Family Pride, please let us know. We will work with you to identify an accessible way to obtain the information or assistance you need.
