This page provides privacy information for California visitors to the Folsom Family Pride website. Read it with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Our Nonprofit Status
Folsom Family Pride is a nonprofit organization. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, generally applies to qualifying for-profit businesses and generally does not apply to nonprofit organizations.
This page explains the privacy choices and request process we offer. It does not represent that every provision of that law applies to Folsom Family Pride, and it does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
Website Information and Advertising
Our website uses technical information and traffic analytics to operate securely, understand visits, and improve content. We use Google Analytics 4 and WPMU DEV Hub Analytics for traffic measurement.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or other advertising technology on this website. Our Privacy Policy explains the providers involved in website operation and the purposes of their access to information.
Requests You Can Make
You may contact us to:
- Ask about personal information associated with you.
- Request access to information we can reasonably identify.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of information, subject to applicable obligations and legitimate retention needs.
- Ask questions about website cookies or privacy practices.
We will review your request based on applicable law and the information available to us. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal obligations, or resolving an outstanding matter. We may be unable to connect a particular analytics identifier to you without additional information.
How to Submit a Request
Email hello@folsomfamilypride.org and explain the information or action you are requesting. Include enough context for us to locate relevant records, but do not send passwords, full payment details, or unnecessary sensitive information.
We may ask for limited additional information to verify your identity or confirm that someone is authorized to act for you. Verification helps protect information from unauthorized access or deletion.
If your request concerns a donation, application, or event process managed through another platform, identify that platform and the approximate date. We can address information held by Folsom Family Pride; you may also need to contact the platform about information it controls separately.
Cookie and Browser Choices
You can review available cookie categories through our website’s cookie preferences control. Your browser may also allow you to block or delete cookies and other stored website data.
Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control communicate privacy preferences to participating websites. They are distinct from the choices you save in a cookie preference panel. Use our available cookie controls for website cookie selections, and contact us if you need help understanding your options.
Respectful Handling of Requests
We will not treat you unfairly for raising a privacy concern or making a good-faith request. Privacy questions and accessibility needs are welcome.
